Avalon_Linear_GSO
Avalon_Linear_GSO_2
From now on the AVALON LINEAR of the Italian manufacturer
Dal Sasso replaces the proven Celestron CGE.
A Mount without a wormwheel gear!
The LINEAR is only driven by timebelts.
This concept is up to now unique, and already had to prove itself in some tests.
Here the GSO 8" RC with QSI 583ws and Starlight Lodestar
is mounted.
The tripod of the CGE is extremely strong, and becomes further used, therefore, also with the Avalon LINEAR.
A nice and well transportable combination.

Here I have written a first test report on the Avalon Linear.
(sorry, but test is only avalible in German)
